"The language of friendship is not words but meanings." -- Henry David Thoreau

The other day I way in a bad situation that could've been avoided if I hadn't been so reluctant or stubborn to ask a very good friend for help. I was a mistake that could have affected my health. She was there for me and I appreciate it. My "brother" told me that has always been a flaw of mine, and that friends are there to give and ask for help. He doesn't see how I don't mind helping people, I'll go outta my way; but when I need it I turn into a coward. He told me I suffer from a common condition and I need to accept it. It's called he human condition. I need to think about how i AM a part of peoples life, a cog in the human machine. People stumble and fall. If you don't allow your friends to help you when you falter when you need them; how are to know they can ask you when the time comes? In the end it's a two way street. friends are a blessing; the good ones are there for the good times AND the bad. --Green eyed Dragon
