"All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware."

This weekend started off looking like it was gonna be the most boring, longest and loneliest weekend of my life but it ended up being one of the best. My best friend who was supposed to enter a card tournament with me on Saturday called saying she had to bail because her sisters took her away on a surprise trip to Orlando. My other friends were either too busy, outta town or on the injured list. So about an hour later she calls me back with an invite from her and her family to join them at Epcot. Being I've never been there, I gratefully said yes. Saturday morning I left my house about 8:30 AM after a few wrong turns found the hotel they were staying at (I got there at 10:30) we caught the bus to Epcot from the hotel. After we got to there, we went all over the park, got on the Nemo ride twice, ate at seasons, went to see Honey I shrank the audience, spent a LOT of time in Japan, watched the drummers, listened to the story teller (I ended up acting in said story) drank some saké and got to keep the glasses. Let me tell you this Kali is an awesome drunk. We then staggered over to morocco to eat. All the time having a vary bad case of the drunken giggles. wandered over to Germany looking for candy, stopped by America got a funnel cake, Believe it or not I've never had one before. OMG! those are tasty bastards. About this time the fireworks were about to start, so we stopped by China, Kali got a peach oolong tea and I had a strawberry oolong tea slushy. we sat and watched the fireworks. Afterward we caught back up with her sisters we took the bus back to their hotel, sorted my swag from hers and drove home. I know i left out a lot of details, but my mind is still racing. i got home around 1:15 AM. so at the end of the day i drove 200.4 round trip, had the best day of the year (several years), had good food, good drink, some great swag, all with a great friend. and i learned that sometimes a spontaneous trip can do you wonders and i need to do it again --- Green eyed Dragon
